The Body Shop Advent Calendar

Hiya!

So you all know the best season ever is started (and I'm not talking about weather seasons!) No it’s less than a month and then it is finally Christmas!!!!!

So now you clearly know I'm so stocked about Christmas and that I'm one of THE BIGGEST CHRISTMAS FANS EVER! I'm also a great fan of The Body Shop so I bought their Advent Calendar. When I was in the shop and got a sneak peak of what is inside the box I could no longer resist. The box is only back for sale in Belgium since last year, so for everyone looking for a great box to spoil yourself or someone you love, GOLDEN TIP ;)

On to the calendar:

The box this year is a beautiful green colour with white letters and a red ribbon, so Christmassy ^^. When you open the calendar you get the lovely surprise of 24 individual boxes. On each box there is a little quote or spell that sometimes gives away what is inside or is just something to make you utterly happy.

But a nice extra is when you turn around all the boxes, so that the numbers are facing the back of the box. Then you can read “Feel So Good”. Because that is what this calendar does. All the little things inside make you feel oh so good.

What are you waiting for? Go spoil yourself!

Every week I’ll give an update of what I've found in the boxes for you guys.  (:

Lots of love!

Rock Werchter 2015

Hiya :)

Summer means no school, no school means fun and free time and that means...
festivals!

This summer I went to my first festival ever and I went straight for the four days at Rock Werchter. And it was amazing!
Living close to Werchter I slept at home so I didn't have the camping experience
but boy was the festival good!

Gavin James - the barn

Although a lot of people cancelled, I think 6 head liners in total, that really sucked.
But despite that, my friends and I had a really good time and are surely coming back next year,
even if we wouldn't like that many artists.

Balthazar - main stage

One of the best moments was the last night after the fireworks. We went to the person my friends stayed with and ate Croque monsieurs, we had so much fun at that moment.

Towers at the Jupiler DJ place.

The festival itself, the music was great but sometimes good artist overlapped each other and that was bummer. Because you have the Main Stage, The Barn and Klub C, there was also a Jupiler DJ place. But you can't have everything, because the toilets where clean ( and from porcelain), the food was good and it didn't make me sick.
I also had some fun tricking and amaze the security.

Towers at the Jupiler DJ place.

For people who don't know, you can bring bottles to the festival.
But only one per person and without the cap.
Just hide the cap, seal it with see through foil and an elastic.
When you're in just get the plastic of and screw on the cap again.

The Script - main stage

The Script - main stage
Most of the performances I saw were artists that I liked,
the advantage of going with people with the same taste in music.

My favourites were: The Script, Mumford And Sons, Muse, The prodigy and Royal Blood
I also liked : Gavin James, , Rise Against, Florence + the Machine and Selah Sue

I also discovered some artists I didn't knew but liked their music and performance.

I know summer is almost over now, it is upsetting me too
but I look forward to next summer
because there are a lot more festivals I want to go to!

Thanks for reading!

Meeting Ish Ait Hamou & books

Hiya :)

So recently Ish Ait Hamou has done a book signing tour. Ish is known from the TV-show So You Think You Can Dance, where he is a jury member, he's a well known hip hop choreographer  and he has worked for Adidas in Germany. He's a polite, kind man and looks even more sympathetic than on TV. After signing the books I bought, he was also so kind to take a picture with me.

His first book was published in 2014 and is called  'Hard Hart(hard heart) and when I started the book I found it a bit weird. But when I kept reading I came to the point I couldn't put the book away. I've read it on the train, the bus, in the car, at lunch break or when I was waiting for someone.

But Ish has a different style of writing than I'm used to and that was, I think, one of the reasons I liked reading the book.

Now the first book is finished, I look forward to read the second book: CécileThe stories don't follow on each other but even if you read the synopsis you can see a sort of pattern in the books.

5 Seconds Of Summer concert Belgium and Hey Violet!

OH MY FREAKING GOD!

I can't even describe how good 5sos is live! They are just super duper incredible fucking amazing!
The fact I had standing places left of the stage (no I don't want to make anyone jealous, if I do sorry then) made it just so much more incredible because, no lie this is not fangirling, the boys accept from Ashton did see me. Also because I'm quite tall...

But really Hey Violet was the opening and I can say they are really good, I didn't doubt that they were good in a certain way but they were way better than I thought they would be! So after a great start of Hey Violet, the crowd was pumped up and ready to go!
Hey Violet is the first group to be signed at the boys record label Hi Or Hey Records and exist out of Nia Lovelis (Drums),
Rena Lovelis (Bass),
Miranda Miller (rhythm guitar and keyboard)
Casey Moreta (lead guitar)

I can only say the boy fully went for it and rocked out! I didn't take my camera with me because I did want to enjoy this concert as someone who was there for the music and the boys and not for a blogpost. But for you guys I took some pictures with my camera, but if you don't find them good, just Google them and I'm sure you'll find enough photo's!
Also the boys were amazed of how the Belgium crowed sang along and reacted so good on what the boys were doing.
They sang Brussel sprouts, Belgian Chocolate and at 'She Looks So Perfect' Luke sang he wasn't going to put is pants down even when the whole crowed asked for it ;)

The Set list:

End Up Here
Out Of my Limit
Heartbreak Girl
Voodoo Doll
